Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Junior Software Engineer. The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of secure software solutions by engaging in programming, back-end development, and testing. Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of software features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient code. The Junior Software Engineer will also participate in code reviews and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and principles
• Proficiency in Software Development, Back-End Web Development, and related frameworks
• Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and AI geospatial intelligence / defense industry concepts is a bonus
