Junior Service Engineer - mechanical

As a Service Manager, your role involves developing and implementing service strategies in alignment with the company's business goals. This includes identifying new service opportunities, expanding offerings, and optimizing existing processes. Your responsibilities also include leading and managing a team of service professionals, such as field service engineers, technicians, and support staff. This entails hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating performance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement service strategies aligned with business goals - Lead and manage a team of service professionals, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance - Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and address issues promptly - Ensure timely and effective service delivery, whether on-site, remote, or upgrades - Maintain high service quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards - Drive service revenue through identifying opportunities, developing packages, and managing contracts - Manage service costs effectively, including reducing expenses and optimizing resource allocation - Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and report key metrics Qualifications Required: - Strong technical expertise in the company's products, manufacturing processes, and service offerings - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Knowledge of fabrication and machine shop operations - Proven leadership and management skills to motivate teams and drive results - Strong customer relationship management abilities with excellent interpersonal skills - Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and solve technical issues - Effective communication skills to interact with customers, engineers, and stakeholders - Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will be expected to work full-time during day shifts with a willingness to travel up to 25% for business purposes.
