Job Description

As a Service Manager, your primary responsibilities will revolve around service strategy and planning, team management, customer relationship management, service delivery, service quality and compliance, service revenue generation, cost optimization, and data analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for developing and implementing service strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, identifying new service opportunities, expanding service offerings, and optimizing existing service processes. Your role will also involve leading and managing a team of service professionals, including field service engineers, technicians, and support staff. This will include activities such as hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating performance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers will be crucial in ensuring their satisfaction with the company's service offerings and promptly addressing any concerns they may have. Additionally, you will be accountable for ensuring the timely and effective delivery of service, whether it involves on-site maintenance, remote support, or product upgrades. Maintaining high standards of service quality and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards will be essential aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for driving service revenue by identifying new service opportunities, developing service packages, and managing service contracts. Cost optimization will be another key area where you will need to effectively manage service costs by reducing expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing service efficiency. Monitoring service performance, identifying improvement areas, and reporting on key service metrics will require your attention to detail and analytical skills. Your technical expertise, leadership and management capabilities, customer relationship management skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills will play a vital role in your success as a Service Manager. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices will also be beneficial in this role. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is preferred. The work location is in person.
