Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Market & product research: Analyze trends in pet imports food, accessories, health products and map out key market gaps and competitor activity.
Lead generation & prospecting: Build ICP-based lists of domestic distributors, retailers, and e-commerce partners in target markets. Recruiting Resources
Outbound outreach: Draft and send cold emails, LinkedIn messages, follow-ups; support cold calls to set appointments.
Lead qualification: Engage with prospects to identify purchase potential, product fit, and urgency before handing off qualified leads to senior BDEs.
CRM & pipeline management: Log all activity, track deal progression, and analyze outreach performance metrics.
Support sales operations: Develop sample proposals, pricing sheets, pitch decks tailored to pet retailers/importers.
Team collaboration: Participate in sales meetings, sales call shadowing, and campaign brainstorming to optimize tactics.

Preferred candidate profile

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Analytical with strong Excel/Sheets proficiency.
Selfstarter, target-driven, and passionate about the pet industry.
