Junior Purchase Executive

Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Assistant Manager Procurement

Job Purpose

To support the procurement function at Homegenie Building Products by ensuring timely and cost-effective purchase of raw materials, consumables, and services required for uninterrupted production, while maintaining quality standards and proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, hardware, and consumables used in Homegenie products (Rocotile, Bioman, Timbe, D'sign Doors etc.).

• Raise Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.

• Collect quotations, prepare basic price comparisons, and support negotiations.

• Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules and follow-ups.

• Ensure timely material availability to support production plans.

• Coordinate with Stores for GRN, material receipt, and documentation.

• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and MIS reports.

• Support material rejection / return process in coordination with Quality and Stores.

• Work closely with Production, Quality, Accounts, and Stores teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree (Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain).

• 0 - 2 years of experience in procurement (manufacturing preferred).

• Freshers with basic purchase knowledge may apply.

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of procurement and vendor coordination.

• Cost-conscious approach and attention to detail.

• Good communication and follow-up skills.

• Working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.

• Ability to work in a factory / plant environment.

• Timely PO processing and material availability.

• Accuracy in purchase documentation.
