Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team to drive sales, optimize inventory levels, and ensure the timely delivery of products. Your responsibilities will include analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors to maintain stock levels. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. You will assist in analyzing sales trends and historical data to forecast future demand, support the merchandising team in developing assortment plans and product strategies, and collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product delivery and optimal inventory levels. Additionally, you will monitor inventory levels, recommend replenishment strategies, and assist in pricing analysis and competitive research to optimize pricing strategies. In this role, you will also coordinate with cross-functional teams, generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct market research to identify emerging trends, and support the development and implementation of promotional campaigns and markdown strategies. You will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from initial concept to end-of-life clearance. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. Previous experience in retail merchandising, inventory management, or related fields is a plus. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively are essential. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy, familiarity with merchandising software and systems, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are also required. Adaptability, willingness to learn new processes and systems, and a passion for retail and understanding of consumer behavior trends are important qualities for this role.
