Junior Workshop Engineer – Material Handling Automation

Primary Responsibility:

Assist in managing workshop operations focused on fabricating and machining components for automated industrial machines.

Key Duties & Expectations:

• 🔧 Learn to interpret manufacturing drawings to guide fabrication and machining processes
• 🧪 Support the design of systems, equipment, and processes for new product introduction or improvements
• ✅ Perform quality checks on finished components with guidance from senior staff
• 👷 Coordinate with operators/laborers to ensure smooth shop floor activities
• 📅 Help develop and maintain daily manufacturing plans
• 📦 Participate in planning the availability of raw materials and finished goods
• 📊 Maintain basic statistical records and collaborate with finance professionals to understand budgeting
