Junior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications and automation scripts.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient Java code for both development and automated testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Selenium or Playwright.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
• Debug and resolve defects in both application and automation code.
• Work with databases, APIs, and backend services for integration testing.
• Collaborate with QA, UI/UX, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Continuously improve skills and keep up with Java, automation frameworks, and software development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Java SE, OOPs concepts, and basic data structures.

• Eagerness to learn testing frameworks like Selenium and Playwright.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Eclipse/IntelliJ, and Maven/Gradle.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Internship or academic project experience in Java or test automation.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
