Job Description

As a Sales and Customer Service representative at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, your role is crucial in achieving individual sales targets and implementing company strategies to boost store profits. Your responsibilities include: - Greeting and welcoming customers, engaging with them to understand their needs. - Escorting customers to counters, showcasing various products, and influencing their buying decisions. - Engaging customers through suggestive selling to drive sales and enhance their confidence. - Conducting remote selling activities like sales through video calls to maximize customer reach. - Prioritizing the sale of aged stock while ensuring customer satisfaction. - Introducing HNI customers to all product categories through cross-selling/cross-promotion. - Handling customer queries and complaints efficiently, providing suitable solutions. - Educating customers on Malabar Promises and product details to ensure customer satisfaction. - Packing products in front of CCTV cameras for online orders to maintain security. - Accepting customer returns and Old Gold, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and quality checks. - Gathering feedback from customers and sharing it with the Manager for business enhancement. - Accurately entering customer details post-purchase for maintaining an updated customer database. - Ensuring product accuracy and details post-sale for customer satisfaction. In addition to your role, you will be involved in schemes, customer order management, stock management, work area & display, marketing, internal processes, and people development: **Schemes:** - Informing customers about special offers and enrolling them in various schemes. - Supporting customers in the scheme opening process and enhancing advances. - Creating advance customer profiles in the system for better customer management. **Customer Order Management:** - Coordinating customer order placement with SCM/MBMG for on-time delivery. **Stock:** - Daily stock counting and recording for inventory management. - Transferring stock to lockers daily and ensuring careful handling. - Reporting sold stock to section head for timely replenishment. **Work Area & Display:** - Implementing visual merchandising guidelines for product display. - Ensuring jewelry safety and promptly reporting any incidents. **Marketing:** - Generating customer leads and increasing footfall. - Inviting customers to visit the store during events and exhibitions. - Supporting in-store team in event management and product exhibitions. - Staying updated on competitors" products and market trends. **Internal Process:** - Adhering to grooming standards and professionalism in appearance and behavior. - Following standard operating procedures and cost-effective practices. - Preparing sales reports for Senior Management. **People Development:** - Acquiring knowledge in all store sections. - Actively seeking self-development opportunities. - Identifying training needs and completing mandatory programs/certifications.,
