Junior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor at Graniti Vicentia India Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for estimating project costs, conducting quantity takeoffs, and managing the financial aspects of interior design and architectural projects. Your role will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and costs. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for interior design and architectural projects, including materials, labor, and other resources required. - Prepare accurate cost estimates based on quantity takeoffs, considering market rates, suppliers, and vendor quotations. - Collaborate with project managers and architects to establish project budgets and track costs throughout the project lifecycle. - Analyze cost variances and propose cost-saving measures without compromising project quality. - Assist in the preparation of bid documents, including bills of quantities (BOQs), and evaluate bids from vendors and suppliers. - Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining design intent. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in architecture interiors or civil projects. - In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs, especially in the context of interior design and architecture. - Proficiency in estimation software like OST, Bluebeam is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet.
