As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator at Graniti Vicentia India Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for estimating project costs, conducting quantity takeoffs, and managing the financial aspects of interior design and architectural projects. Your role will involve detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, budget management, cost analysis, bid management, and value engineering. You will conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for interior design and architectural projects, including materials, labor, and other required resources. Additionally, you will prepare accurate cost estimates based on quantity takeoffs, considering market rates, suppliers, and vendor quotations. Collaborating with project managers and architects, you will establish project budgets and track costs throughout the project lifecycle. Your analytical skills will be crucial in analyzing cost variances and proposing cost-saving measures without compromising project quality. You will also assist in bid document preparation, including bills of quantities (BOQs), and evaluate bids from vendors and suppliers. Identifying opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining design intent will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in architecture interiors or civil projects is required. You should possess in-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs, especially in the context of interior design and architecture. Proficiency in estimation software like OST and Bluebeam is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet is also necessary for this role.,
