Junior Engineer, Infrastructure

As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas: Role Overview: You will be involved in conducting a baseline survey to assess the availability of water resources in clusters. Additionally, you will design water body structures to ensure irrigation facilities for the cluster and prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for infrastructure projects in consultation with project stakeholders. Moreover, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the progress of newly created or rejuvenated water resources and other infrastructures. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with relevant line agencies for the development of pre- and post-harvest infrastructure. - Assist the Manager, Infrastructure in preparing the Annual Action Plan and DPR for supply chain development and infrastructure. - Help in the procurement process of contractors/suppliers for pre- and post-harvest infrastructure development. - Review and suggest modifications to existing pre- and post-harvest infrastructure for improvement. - Provide technical guidance on post-harvest development initiatives. - Evaluate proposals submitted by entrepreneurs for various infrastructure projects. - Prepare monthly plans, reports, field notes, thought papers, and other project-related documents. - Generate information, reports, roadmaps, etc., as directed by the District Implementation Unit & Project Management Unit. - Coordinate with Project Management Unit/Project Management Consultant. - Execute the annual action plan within the designated clusters. - Undertake any other tasks assigned by the project authority. Qualifications Required: - B.E. (Agri Infrastructure) / B. Tech in Civil or Diploma in Civil / Agriculture Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience. - A total of 5 years of experience in design and infrastructure development, preferably in Agriculture/Horticulture infrastructure.
