Junior Electrical Engineer Automation

Job Summary: We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in panel wiring, field wiring, and basic automation to join our execution team. The role involves electrical assembly, wiring, installation, and support of automation equipment both in-house and at customer sites. Key Responsibilities: Execute panel wiring as per electrical schematics, including layout, mounting, and terminal connections. Perform field wiring for sensors, actuators, motors, PLCs, drives, and HMIs. Read and understand electrical diagrams, control wiring layouts, and load charts. Carry out testing and pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) of panels and systems. Participate in on-site installation and commissioning of automation projects. Assist in the troubleshooting of electrical faults during trials or operation. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper grounding practices. Maintain documentation of wiring and changes made during execution. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in panel and field wiring in an industrial/automation setting. Familiarity with control panel layouts, wiring schedules, and standard practices. Ability to work with tools, testers, and measuring instruments. Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD wiring and basic automation concepts. Ability to work independently and on tight schedules at customer sites. Strong attention to detail and work discipline on shop floor and site.
