Junior Data Analyst

As a Data Analytics Executive (Technical Fresher) at our company, your role will involve supporting the analytics team with gathering, processing, visualizing, and interpreting data for various in-house digital projects. You should possess solid analytical thinking, proficiency with general analytics tools, and the ability to work with datasets, dashboards, and basic automation scripts. This position is perfect for a fresher looking to kickstart a career in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance data engineering. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Collection & Processing** - Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources such as CSV, API, databases, and dashboards. - Utilize SQL queries to pull and filter relevant data sets. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. - **Data Analysis & Insight Generation** - Conduct trend analysis, correlation analysis, and performance comparison. - Identify anomalies, sudden drops, and unusual data behavior. - Assist in generating predictive insights based on historical datasets (basic forecasting). - **Reporting & Visualization** - Develop dashboards and automated reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and optionally Looker Studio. - Create charts, models, and visual summaries for management. - Present technical insights in simplified formats for non-technical teams. - **Automation & Scripting (Good to Have)** - Write basic Python scripts for data cleaning, merging datasets, and automating manual reports. - Familiarity with Google BigQuery for handling large datasets and running analytical queries. - **Cross-Team Collaboration** - Collaborate with performance, marketing, and product teams to translate data into actionable steps. - Share insights on project health, upward/downward trends, and KPIs. **Required Technical Skills:** - Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Logic, Power Query preferred). - Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Google BigQuery basics, and Python basics. - Understanding of data structures, KPIs, and dashboards. **Good to Have (Optional Skills - Not Mandatory):** - Knowledge of GA4, GSC, Google Ads, Meta Insights, Looker Studio, HubSpot Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, API integration, and basic statistical concepts. In terms of your profile, we are looking for individuals with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work comfortably with numbers, graphs, and raw datasets. Excellent documentation and reporting skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn new tools and analytical frameworks promptly. **Education:** Candidates with a degree in B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, MCA, M.Tech, or any other degree focusing on analytics, statistics, computer science, or data-related subjects are preferred.
