Job Description

Position: Junior BIM Engineer – Electrical Experience: 6 Months – 2 Years Location: Pune (Work from Office) Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating and developing Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit. Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical systems, including Lighting, Power, and Fire Alarm & Public Address (FAPA) systems. Maintain and update BIM models to reflect design changes and project requirements. Ensure models comply with BIM standards, guidelines, and project specifications . Collaborate with other disciplines such as Architecture, Structural, and MEP to ensure model coordination. Support clash detection processes using Navisworks and help resolve conflicts. Contribute to the preparation of project deliverables , including 3D models, drawings, and documentation. Maintain organized and accurate project files for future reference. Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering . Required Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit , AutoCAD , and Navisworks . Basic understanding of electrical systems and their integration within buildings. Familiarity with US electrical codes such as NEC and NFPA . Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints . Understanding of BIM standards and best practices . Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment . Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving project requirements. Preferred Software Skills (a plus): Procore, Revitzo, Dynamo, Syncro, or other construction technology platforms. Show more Show less
