About the Role

We are seeking motivated Junior Bid Specialist (Freshers) to join our team and help us win high-quality IT projects on Upwork. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic bidding experience to grow their skills in proposal writing, client communication, and business development within the IT services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify suitable IT project opportunities on Upwork that align with our service offerings.
• Write compelling, customized proposals that highlight our team's technical expertise and project experience.
• Analyze client requirements and project specifications to craft targeted responses.
• Maintain proposal templates and continuously improve bid quality based on success rates.
• Track bid submissions, response rates, and conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand project feasibility and resource requirements.
• Communicate with potential clients during the initial inquiry phase.
• Stay updated on Upwork platform changes, bidding best practices, and market trends

Required Qualifications

• 1-6 months of experience bidding on IT projects through Upwork or similar freelancing platforms.
• Strong written English communication skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of common IT services (web and mobile apps, software development, etc.).
• Familiarity with Upwork's bidding system, Connect usage, and profile optimization.
• Ability to research and understand technical project requirements.
• Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily/weekly bidding targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background in IT, Computer Science, (B.Tech/ Diploma/BCA).
• Experience with CRM tools or project management software.
• Understanding of different software development methodologies.
• Previous freelancing experience or knowledge of the gig economy.
• Basic knowledge of pricing strategies for IT services.

• Monthly bid volume targets.
• Proposal response and conversion rates.
• Quality of client communications and follow-ups.
• Contribution to overall revenue growth through successful project acquisitions.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
