Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Administrator to join our team. This position involves overseeing day-to-day operational tasks related to stock management, housekeeping, transport coordination, and maintenance within the school. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic school environment. Key Responsibilities: Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of school supplies, materials, and equipment. Maintain accurate records of stock and ensure that all required items are replenished in a timely manner. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the purchase of necessary items. Ensure the proper storage and organization of stock to avoid waste or loss. Housekeeping Coordination: Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the school’s facilities. Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met in classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are well-stocked and maintained. Transport Management: Coordinate the daily transport schedule for students, including managing school buses and drivers. Ensure all transportation arrangements are safe, efficient, and on time. Keep track of transportation-related documentation (vehicle logs, student transport details, etc.). Maintenance Oversight: Monitor the maintenance and repair needs of the school’s infrastructure, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas. Coordinate with maintenance staff or external contractors to address any maintenance issues in a timely manner. Ensure the school’s facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with relevant safety standards. General Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and data entry as needed. Assist in managing school events or activities that require logistical support (e.g., coordinating facilities, supplies, etc.). Liaise with staff, students, and parents to address operational concerns and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in business administration or related field is a plus. Previous experience in a school or administrative role is preferred but not required. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of inventory management, housekeeping, and maintenance processes. Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
