Job Description

As a Junior Adjuster - Claims, you will be responsible for managing and executing all assigned claims-related tasks with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and handling complex claims across various liability domains. Your contributions will lead to efficient claims handling, compliance with jurisdictional guidelines, and ensuring high client satisfaction through professional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Manage claims processes from intake through resolution, focusing on General Liability, Cyber Liability, and Employment Practices Liability (EPL). - Maintain client-facing communication with responsiveness, transparency, and professionalism. - Demonstrate understanding of jurisdictional nuances such as comparative negligence, statutory guidelines, and layered liability. - Review and analyze claims data, documentation, and coverage information to develop resolution strategies. - Negotiate effectively with carriers and stakeholders for fair and timely settlements. - Collaborate with internal and external partners for litigation support, coverage analysis, loss prevention, or subrogation processes. - Exhibit adaptability and initiative in problem-solving while fostering positive team dynamics. - Provide support to team members and assist in managing claims in their absence. Required Skills and Competencies: - Problem-Solving: Strong investigative and analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines. - Interpersonal Skills: Approachable, collaborative, and proactive in relationship management. - Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written communication; adept at client interactions. - Attitude: Positive mindset with maturity and professionalism. - Flexibility: Willingness to work in flexible shifts as required. - Claims Knowledge: Good understanding of the claims lifecycle and related terminologies. Qualifications and Experience: - Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. - Certifications: Claims-related certification from a recognized institution (e.g., CII, The Institutes, Insurance Institute of India) desirable. - Experience: Prior experience handling end-to-end claims or involvement in at least 3-4 stages of the claims lifecycle is required.
