Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Accountant / Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting tasks for our clothing brand. The role involves maintaining records, supporting GST/TDS filings, and assisting the accounts team in smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Record daily accounting entries (sales, purchase, expenses, receipts, payments).
· Maintain petty cash, ledgers, and bank reconciliation statements.
· Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and vouchers.
· Support GST, TDS, and other compliance work.
· Follow up with vendors and buyers regarding payments.
· Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
· Coordinate with auditors and support during audits.
· Provide assistance to Sr. Accountant / Accounts Head when required.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com or equivalent).
· 1–2 years of experience in accounting.
· Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
· Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
· Good communication skills (English/Tamil)
· Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
