Junior Accountant - US Accounting

Our firm is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team handling accounting for our clientele in the United States.

What you'll do:

• Bookkeeping:

  Handle day-to-day transaction entries, including vendor bills and customer invoices.

• Reconciliation:

  Reconcile bank feeds, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts monthly.

• Reporting:

  Assist in creating key financial reports, such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets, for client review.

• Compliance Support:

  Provide support for US payroll administration and the preparation of federal and state tax workpapers.

• Data Management:

  Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within our accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).

What you'll need:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles; familiarity with US GAAP is a major plus.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, especially QuickBooks Online.
• A meticulous and organized approach to your work.
• The ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
