Job Description

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our Finance & Accounts team in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining books of accounts, including journal entries and ledgers
Record daily financial transactions accurately
Support accounts payable and receivable activities
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payment vouchers
Assist in bank reconciliations and statement verification
Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance
Support GST-related data preparation and filings
Coordinate with internal teams for financial clarifications
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers can apply)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with Tally, ERP systems, or accounting software is a plus
Basic understanding of GST and statutory compliances
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to audits and compliance processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
