Junior Accountant

Job Description

Location : Koratty Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in the manufacturing industry, with strong expertise in Tally and a solid understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and ledger maintenance. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements. Monitor and reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and inter-company transactions. Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, including GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Manage inventory accounting and cost control processes specific to manufacturing operations. Generate reports on financial performance and provide insights for cost optimization. Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, internal controls, and financial regulations. Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation for audits. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter or CMA certification is an advantage). 1-2years of proven experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Proficient in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred: Prior experience in a manufacturing company is highly desirable.
