Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, performing routine accounting tasks, and supporting senior staff in daily accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Assist with payroll preparation and tax filings
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with audits and financial reviews
• Perform other administrative tasks as required by the accounting team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or work experience in a finance or accounting role
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
• Experience with ERP systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
