Job Description

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Assist with tax computations and returns.
Conduct periodic internal audits and help with external audits.
Maintain and organize financial documents and files.
Provide support to the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship or prior experience in an accounting or finance role.
Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

Work Environment:

Office-based role with standard business hours.
May occasionally require overtime during month-end or year-end closings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
