JOB POSITION
Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking the Database Activity Monitoring supports the Data Protection and Monitoring Services (DPMS) team and has experience with various data structures, database structures, data platforms - including on premises and Cloud environments, data models, and data services. The ideal candidate will also have experience in generative AI and prompt engineering projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
System Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Configure virtual [Linux] servers with vendor proprietary database activity monitoring software
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve DAM tool related errors, vendor software bugs, and/or functionality issues with vendor technical support
- Work closely with vendor Technical Account Manager (TAM) to resolve vendor software issues to ensure system availability and uptime of 95%
- Monitor server client health from DAM application for infrastructure uptime and performance based on Anthem and vendors specified configuration
- Track and report metrics associated with DAM technology tool
- Experience in providing analytical reports using tools from MS Office
- Perform DAM software installation upgrade to latest versions, including a good understanding of a broad range of database configurations
- Responds to Level 3 and 4 change and problem requests; leads Level 1 and 2 incident recoveries and performs root cause analysis
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent years (2-3+) as an DAM Application SME
- 3-5 years of related work experience in information security, data protection, data privacy and security, or similar field
- 3-5 years administering configuring, testing, and deploying vendor provided security software on Linux and Intel OSx servers
- Experience with VMWare or similar tools
- Experience with Cloud Computing - good to have
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent years (4-8+) as Linux Administrator or VM Ware administrator DAM infra experience
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- 3-5 years of related work experience in information security, data protection, data privacy and security, or similar field
- 3-5 years administering configuring, testing, and deploying vendor provided security software on Linux OSx servers
- Experience with Imperva SecureSphere (version 12+) or Guardium similar tools - must have
- Administrative experience in multiple versions of operating systems such as Windows, Linux - must have
- Ability to generate report statistics on DAM system performance
- Knowledge of database activity monitoring industry best practices, procedures or strategies
- Familiarity with common incident management/ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now)
- Knowledge, skill, ability to script in BASH, Powershell, Python or other similar use language - good to have
