Job Title: Jr Mechanical BIM Engineer/Jr HVAC BIM Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Mechanical BIM Engineer to support the development of HVAC and plumbing systems models using Autodesk Revit. The ideal candidate will assist in producing accurate BIM models and construction documentation under the guidance of senior engineers and BIM leads.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating 3D mechanical and plumbing models (HVAC, piping, and ductwork) using Revit in accordance with design drawings and BIM standards.
• Support the preparation of project templates and Revit family creation as directed by senior team members.
• Generate basic shop drawings and views from BIM models for review and further development.
• Participate in model updates, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to ensure model accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with BIM coordinators and engineers to identify and document clashes.
• Maintain version control of Revit models and understand the fundamentals of work sharing and work sets.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary coordination meetings to learn and assist in resolving design conflicts.
• Understand and follow project BIM execution plans and standards.
• Assist in preparing preliminary models for HVAC and plumbing systems during early design phases.
• Contribute to quantity take-offs and schedules under supervision for estimating and procurement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a BIM/Revit MEP modeling role (internship experience acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing).
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks or similar coordination software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of LOD (Level of Development) and BIM processes is desirable.
