Job Title: Procurement Coordinator

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary: The Procurement Coordinator supports the purchasing operations by sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring vendor compliance. This role involves close coordination with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of goods and services in line with project timelines and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivering the task within the agreed timelines and desired quality.

2. Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.

3. Prepare procurement packages for each project.

4. Prepare BOQs and release RFx (RFI, RFQ) as per requirements.

5. Obtain shop drawing confirmations by coordinating with the vendor and project team/design team.

6. Obtain bids/quotes from suppliers, compare bids and ensure they meet the specifications along with quote verification.

7. Pre-qualification of suppliers, evaluate contractors and vendor performances.

8. Prepare and process Purchase Orders and Work Orders along with procurement documentation.

9. Maintain procurement logs.

10. Ensure orders are released as per project timelines.

11. Track and monitor delivery schedules.

12. Track invoices and ensure they are in-line with the released orders.

13. Invoice checks, cost checks, quantity checks as per the released contracts.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • Education – Diploma/ITI/B.E/B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction procurement.
