Jr Executive /Executive warehouse/ Logistic

About the Role

The Warehouse Executive / Sr. Executive will be responsible for organizing and managing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This includes overseeing staff, managing inventory, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and drivers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager in recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
• Plan and schedule daily warehouse activities to achieve targets as per business requirements.
• Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, and general items.
• Conduct and reconcile physical inventory with computerized records; address discrepancies.
• Raise indents for materials to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure proper stock placement and maintain efficient space utilization.
• Monitor and execute timely dispatches of finished goods in line with schedules.
• Coordinate movement of materials between departments and external locations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse efficiency and implement best practices.
• Monitor warehouse expenditures and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
• Enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance with audits and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and readiness for inspections and audits.
• Address and resolve minor equipment or operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field).
• 2-7 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or 3PL.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Prior experience with a bonded warehouse is an added advantage.
