Role & responsibilities Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manage inbound, storage, and outbound logistics operations aligned with the customer's production schedules Oversee daily warehouse activities , material handling, stock movement, FIFO, and dispatches Ensure timely and accurate receipt and issue posting in SAP Coordinate closely with client departments (production, QA, purchase) for smooth operations PPC (Production Planning & Control) Align logistics schedules with production plans and material requirement planning (MRP) Monitor inventory health and support production planning with on-time material availability Ensure zero line stoppage through proactive supply chain coordination Inventory & SAP Management Ensure accurate physical vs system inventory reconciliation and cycle counting Strong hands-on experience with SAP (MM/WM/SD modules) for transactions & reporting Generate and analyze reports for stock levels, material ageing, and space utilization Team & Vendor Coordination Lead and manage warehouse staff , contract labour, and transport vendors Plan shift operations and manpower allocation to ensure productivity targets Implement 5S, safety, and kaizen initiatives within warehouse Cost Optimization & Reporting Drive initiatives for cost reduction in warehousing, packaging, and transport Monitor TATs, OTIF%, space utilization, and other operational KPIs Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports to internal and customer stakeholders Preferred candidate profile In-depth knowledge of SAP (MM/WM/SD) Experience in 3PL operations with OEM/Auto clients Proficient in inventory control, warehouse planning , and vendor management Strong analytical, coordination , and problem-solving skills Exposure to PPC/Material Planning and customer-facing roles Familiarity with ISO, safety, and compliance standards
