Jr. Engineer

As a Junior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, design, and execution of construction and architectural projects. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of project plans while upholding quality and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, and blueprints using AutoCAD and other design software. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop design concepts, analyze project feasibility, and perform basic calculations related to structural analysis and load-bearing capacities. Additionally, you will be required to visit project sites regularly to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with approved plans, identify design deviations, quality issues, and safety concerns. Your role will also involve collaborating with contractors and site workers to resolve on-site challenges. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. This will include conducting quality checks, preparing inspection reports, and maintaining project documentation and records. Furthermore, you will assist in quantity estimation, material procurement, and cost analysis. Monitoring material usage and maintaining an inventory of project resources will also be part of your duties. Collaboration and coordination are essential aspects of this role. You will work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams to coordinate project deliverables. Your active participation in project meetings and technical discussions will contribute to the overall success of the projects. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, and other relevant design software is required. A basic knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail, are key attributes for this role. Good communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a willingness to learn and grow, will enhance your effectiveness in this position. Preferred skills for this role include a basic understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling), knowledge of MS Office (including Excel for project documentation), and familiarity with project management tools and techniques. This is a full-time, permanent position with a fixed shift schedule, requiring in-person work at the designated location.,
