Role Overview: You will be a part of the finance team as a Jr. Accountant. Your main responsibility will be managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing financial statements, and supporting overall financial health and operations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. - Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Handle tax preparations, filings, and liaise with auditors or tax consultants as needed. - Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. - Support internal and external audits. - Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 1-2 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP) and MS Excel. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail, Building material, Hardware].
