Job Description

Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Dalhousie, Kolkata Department: Accounts & Finance Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally to assist in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in bookkeeping, data entry, and financial record maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally ERP / Tally Prime. Handle accounts payable and receivable, sales and purchase entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, and ledgers. Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and GST/TDS filings. Support the senior accountant in audit preparation and financial reporting. Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records. Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding payment status and discrepancies. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent. 1–3 years of accounting experience Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime is mandatory. Knowledge of MS Excel and basic accounting principles.
