Logistics & Distribution Oversee transportation planning for inbound and outbound goods. Ensure timely delivery from suppliers to warehouse and from warehouse to distributors/retailers. Manage and evaluate logistics partners (transporters, couriers). Control freight costs and vehicle utilization efficiency. 4. Warehouse & Inventory Control Maintain optimal inventory levels , reduce stock-outs and overstock. Monitor inventory aging , expiry, and FIFO adherence. Implement bin/location systems and cycle count processes. Coordinate warehouse layout for efficient space utilization. Ensure proper packing, labelling, and dispatch processes. 5. Compliance & Documentation Ensure procurement and logistics documentation is complete and GST-compliant. Maintain HSN-wise records, purchase tax registers, and statutory audit data. Comply with FSSAI, GST, and local logistics regulations. Manage contracts, import documentation (if applicable), and vendor certifications. 6. Cross-Functional Coordination Liaise with Sales for demand inputs and urgent requirements. Work with Finance to manage vendor payments, cost controls, and landed cost accounting. Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to streamline system workflows and reporting. Support production or repacking units, if applicable. 7.
