The successful candidate will diagnose and treat various eye conditions, perform surgeries when necessary, and ensure patient satisfaction through compassionate and comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye diseases and vision problems. Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments for eye conditions. Perform surgeries such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma treatment as needed. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology through continuing education and training. Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Residency training in ophthalmology from an accredited program. Board certification in ophthalmology. Valid state medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist. Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Preferred Skills Experience in a busy outpatient setting. Proficiency in performing a wide range of eye surgeries. Knowledge of the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies in ophthalmology.
