Wanneer de focus van het probleemgedrag af is, verdwijnt dit gedrag naar de achtergrond. EVB (Ernstig verstandelijke beperking) Op een EVB woning wonen gemiddeld zeven tot acht bewoners met een ernstig verstandelijke beperking. Deze bewoners hebben een ernstige verstandelijke beperking met mogelijk een lichamelijke beperking en/of medische problemen. De ontwikkelingsleeftijd van de bewoners ligt tussen de zes maanden en twee jaar. Verbale communicatie is niet vanzelfsprekend en vindt plaats op een eenvoudige manier. Door gebruik van pictogrammen, gebarentaal of lichaamshouding/ taal. Het is voor mensen met EVB vaak moeilijk om de wereld om zich heen te begrijpen. Om zich veilig te voelen hebben zij de juiste begeleiding en/ of verzorging nodig in een vertrouwde omgeving. De vertrouwde begeleiders en het netwerk zijn heel belangrijk voor de bewoners en dragen bij aan het gevoel van veiligheid. Bij het werken met de doelgroep EVB is het bieden van structuur in een voorspelbare omgeving heel belangrijk. Je moet vooruit kunnen denken in de begeleiding én verzorgingsmomenten. Diversiteit en ontwikkelingsgerichtheid staan hoog in het vaandel. Verder moet je doorzettingsvermogen hebben en denk je in mogelijkheden. Je bent cliëntgericht, loyaal en je hebt humor. Als huishoudelijk medewerker zorg je voor een schone en vooral veilige woning voor mensen met een beperking. Samen met jouw collega’s maak je het mogelijk dat cliënten het gewone leven ervaren en geef je hen een fijn thuis. Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit verschillende taken, zo maak je de vloeren van de algemene ruimtes en het sanitair schoon. Auch farbiges Licht kann diese beeinflussen. Obwohl Licht und insbesondere farbiges Licht eine immer grssere Rolle in unserem modernen Leben spielen und auch therapeutisch angewendet werden, sind Effekte von Farblicht auf den Menschen bisher wenig wissenschaftlich untersucht. Unsere Forschungsgruppe hat bereits einige interessante Effekte von Farblicht darstellen knnen. In der PhD-Arbeit wird diese Forschung mittels weiterer Studien weitergefhrt. Dabei kommen nicht-invasive Verfahren, wie die systemisch-physiologisch erweiterte Nahinfrarotspektroskopie (systemic physiology augmented near-infrared spectroscopy (SPA-fNIRS)); Elektroenzephalographie sowie psychometrische Messmethoden zum Einsatz. Durch die Ergebnisse dieser Studien erwarten wir, dass einerseits therapeutische Anstze mit Farblicht zielgerichtet ausgearbeitet und Effekte des zunehmenden Einsatzes von Farblicht besser verstanden werden knnen.
