Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Systems Operation & maintenance of electrical distribution systems (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, VFDs). Preventive & breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, and instrumentation. Monitoring of power consumption and implementing energy-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms and statutory inspections. 2. Mechanical & Process Equipment Maintenance of rotating and static equipment – reactors, centrifuges, dryers, pumps, agitators, scrubbers, etc. Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime. Ensure lubrication, alignment, and preventive checks for equipment reliability. 3. Utilities – Boiler, Chilling Plant, Air & Water Systems Operation & maintenance of Boilers (IBR / Non-IBR), ensuring efficient steam generation & compliance with Boiler Act. Maintenance of Chilling Plants, HVAC systems, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors for continuous supply of chilled water & compressed air. Monitoring & upkeep of WTP, ETP, and RO plants for water quality compliance. Optimize energy efficiency in utilities to reduce operating costs. 4. Documentation & Compliance Prepare & maintain logbooks, SOPs, checklists, and maintenance records. Ensure timely calibration, validation, and statutory compliance of utilities. Support during internal/external audits (USFDA, EDQM, WHO, ISO, etc.). 5. Safety & Improvement Initiatives Implement preventive maintenance schedule with zero safety incidents. Comply with electrical & mechanical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO). Suggest & execute modifications for energy efficiency and cost reduction. Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Utility systems . Knowledge of cGMP, GEP, IBR, and statutory compliance . Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills. Good documentation & audit compliance practices. Teamwork and ability to coordinate with production & QC departments.
