Job description for ServiceNow Portal Developer: Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement portals on the ServiceNow platform. • Experience in Configuration of Service Portal and custom widgets along with required workflows and processes • Experience in Implementing designer-provided user interfaces • Experience in matching the UI from designs on various pages of a portal. • Designing, configuring, and customizing new applications and modules. Assisting in troubleshooting patch / release management issues • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of the portals. • Design and develop responsive, user-friendly portals that meet business requirements. • Work with clients and project teams to understand business requirements and develop robust solutions. • Develop custom Mobile Applets along with features like bar code scans, language translation for mobile, etc. • Serve as a ServiceNow technical subject matter expert. • Mentor and train junior developers in the team. • Stay up-to-date with emerging ServiceNow technologies and industry trends. • Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with project team and clients to create and implement solutions. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in the design and development of ServiceNow portals. • Expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development with a solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform and architecture. • Experience in developing and deploying responsive design portals in line with user experience and design principles. • Proficient in client-side scripting, including AngularJS, ReactJS, or similar frameworks. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • ServiceNow certifications (ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, etc.) are a plus Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Service Portal / portal development / cmdb/ ITSM.
