About the Role

Backend Engineer


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems using

    Node.js

    and

    Express.js

    .
  • Work with

    MySQL

    — including schema design, query writing, and optimization.
  • Assist in integrating

    OpenAI APIs

    and other external services.
  • Build and maintain

    secure, scalable REST APIs

    .
  • Write

    clean, testable, and maintainable code

    following best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • Participate in

    code reviews

    , version control workflows, and agile development processes.


Requirements

  • 1-2 year of backend development experience (internship, project, or freelance work counts).
  • Solid understanding of

    Node.js

    and

    Express.js

    .
  • Basic knowledge of

    MySQL

    (queries, schema design, indexing).
  • Familiarity with

    RESTful API

    development and integration.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and basic security principles.
  • Comfortable using

    Git

    for version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
