Job Description

As a Merchandiser, your role involves creating a continent-wise list of existing clients for American, European, Australian, and Asian continent-based clientele. You will be responsible for prioritizing and targeting existing clients, new clients, and dormant clients. Additionally, you will create and maintain client-wise sales growth reports and prepare new packages to offer to clients based on R&D insights and client history. Continuous follow-up with clients, bringing new business, and coordinating with product development members for new themes are also key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement merchandising strategies to ensure the right jewelry collections are available in the right markets at the right time - Stay updated on current jewelry trends, materials, and gemstones to incorporate them into new collections - Plan and execute effective visual merchandising strategies to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience - Assist customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry, providing expert advice and building relationships - Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper stock management, and minimize stockouts - Work to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the store - Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective communication - Research and analyze market trends and consumer preferences to identify growth opportunities - Arrange and maintain attractive displays of jewelry, ensuring they are clean, organized, and visually appealing - Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales - Interact with customers, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service - Handle tools carefully to avoid damage to jewelry or injury Qualifications Required: - Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus - Experience: 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the jewelry or luxury retail industry - Product Knowledge: Familiarity with jewelry trends, gemstones, and precious metals is highly desirable - Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential - Sales Skills: Strong sales skills and the ability to close deals effectively - Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory, maintain displays, and organize tasks effectively - Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary for ensuring the quality and presentation of jewelry - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and challenges - Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market trends and customer preferences Please note that this job is a full-time position requiring a Bachelor's degree.
