Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead (Java) who can lead by example—writing clean

code, owning system design, guiding team members, and driving architectural decisions for scalable backend systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, resilient, and secure microservices at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture.
• Drive system design and architecture for scalable solutions.
• Perform code reviews, ensure best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams for smooth releases.
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery and production readiness.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and robust API development.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–9 years of backend development experience, primarily in Java.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and building RESTful microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for scalable deployments.
• Experience working with Kafka for event-driven systems.
• Strong foundation in data structures, system design, and software architecture.
• Proficiency in team leadership, code quality, and agile delivery.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Prior experience working in media, publishing, or content platforms.
