Zonal Sales Head - North

We are looking for a dynamic Zonal Sales Manager to lead and grow our North advertising business at HT Digital. This leadership role reports directly to Head Revenue - Display Sales and is critical in driving revenue across key categories such as FMCG, BFSI, Travel, Retail, Education, and International Clients.

The ideal candidate will bring strong industry connects, deep knowledge of the digital media ecosystem, and a proven ability to unlock business opportunities through meaningful client and agency relationships. Equally important is the ability to mentor, motivate, and elevate the sales team. We are building a formidable digital ad sales force, and we’re looking for someone who can shape the team into category experts and drive consultative selling culture.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Drive Revenue for the North region - Digital Ad Sales and international markets.
• Create and execute strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach.
• Evolve an efficient sales planning process by analysing the optimum category mix for best returns and plan growth in various categories
• Deliver revenue in tune with targets for the identified categories
• Responsible for successful closure of all deals in collaboration with the team
• Maintain P&L for each account and ensure closure of profitable deals
• Understanding client business needs & seasonality and accomplishing a plan to fulfil targets accordingly
• Collaborate with the product and operations team to ensure timely release of advertisements
• Develop performance plan and set annual targets for team to drive a high-performance sales culture
• Monitor market and lead team to drive new client acquisition and identify new opportunities to maximize sales
• Support in building the digital capabilities of team and provide them new client exposure

Skill Required:

• Relevant experience in the Digital / Media advertising industry (10 Yrs - 15 Yrs).
• Comfort in managing client and agency relationships on an ongoing basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
