Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Technical Consultant at our company, you will be a part of the Professional Services team, where your main responsibilities will include solution implementation, custom development, third-party integration, data loading, and interface configuration. Your role will involve collaborating with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and client teams to design, develop, and test customizations. Additionally, you will be developing custom applications and enhancements using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages. You will also be assisting clients with technical aspects of implementations, leading data migration activities, and providing technical guidance and support to internal teams. Your mentoring skills will be crucial as you may need to guide junior team members when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in end-to-end implementation of technical solutions. - Collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and client teams. - Develop custom applications and enhancements using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages. - Assist clients with technical aspects of implementations. - Lead data migration activities and provide technical guidance to internal teams. - Mentor junior team members. Qualifications Required: - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software development/technical consulting. - Strong proficiency in Core Java and J2EE with server-side, real-time, transaction-based development experience. - Solid understanding and experience in object-oriented programming. - Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. - Experience in developing or customizing applications using Java and scripting languages. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Company Details: - Exposure to middle-tier programming using Servlets. - Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and XML. - Experience using Eclipse IDE and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). - Prior experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. - Experience with system sizing, deployment, and third-party software integration. - Mentoring experience or ability to guide junior team members.,
