Java Software Engineer

Position Title: Java Developer Location: Noida / Gurgaon / Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Time Zone: US Overlap Preferred (Approximately -5 Hours) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with a strong backend development background to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in core Java, multithreading, database integration, and performance tuning. This role requires working in alignment with US time zones for effective collaboration with global teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java SE . Implement multithreaded applications and ensure optimal performance. Integrate backend services with Sybase/SQL Server databases. Conduct performance tuning and code optimization . Refactor and modernize legacy applications to align with current standards. Write complex and optimized queries using ANSI SQL . Collaborate in Agile development teams and follow best practices in version control and deployment using Git and CI/CD pipelines . Requirements 5–7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java SE . Strong understanding of multithreading , JDBC , and database integration . Proficiency in Sybase or SQL Server , with a solid command of ANSI SQL . Experience in refactoring legacy codebases and improving system architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD tools , version control (Git), and Agile methodologies. Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team setup with US time zone overlap. Show more Show less
