Java Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based systems
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry best practices
• Work with the team to establish coding standards and best practices
• Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the Java ecosystem

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with API development and management tools such as Swagger and Postman
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
