Java Software Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at Lxme, a leading financial services platform in India dedicated to empowering women in managing and expanding their finances, you will play a crucial role in building and integrating APIs on our existing systems using Java. Your responsibilities will include delving into code and logs to analyze and resolve customer issues within their user journey. An ideal candidate for this role is an adept problem solver with a keen analytical mindset. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable customer-facing APIs to efficiently manage high volumes of traffic. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Additionally, you will work closely with the backend team to troubleshoot issues and pinpoint error sources. Proactivity in enhancing logging and monitoring systems will be encouraged, and you will be expected to continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies with a growth-oriented approach. Requirements for this role include a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java Backend Engineer, proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of its ecosystems, and expertise in developing applications using Spring MVC & Spring Boot. You should possess a strong grasp of object-oriented programming, the ability to craft reusable Java libraries, knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java, and familiarity with concepts like MVC, JDBC, and RESTful services. Being a self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision, you should also showcase agility in learning and adapting to evolving priorities and requirements. Additionally, hands-on experience with on-prem infrastructure and a good understanding of BSE/Investments APIs would be advantageous for this role.,
