Java Senior Developer - Tools

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer

- Java

with strong expertise in backend development, cloud-native applications, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading development teams, designing scalable systems, and ensuring best coding practices.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

✅ Strong expertise in

Java (8 and above)

and

Spring Boot

✅ Experience with

Microservices Architecture

and REST API development✅ Hands-on experience in

Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

✅ Proficiency in

SQL & NoSQL Databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)✅ Experience in

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)

✅ Strong knowledge of

Docker & Kubernetes

for container orchestration✅ Hands-on experience in

Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)

✅ Experience with

Testing frameworks

(JUnit, Mockito, Postman for API testing)

🔹 Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)

✅ Knowledge of

Frontend Technologies (React/Angular/Vue.js)

✅ Experience in

DevOps Practices & Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

✅ Familiarity with

Camunda BPM / Workflow Automation tools

✅ Understanding of

Security Best Practices (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, API Security)

✅ Agile & Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Ensure high-quality coding, architecture, and design standards.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best development practices.

Software Development & Architecture:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services.
• Implement Microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot & Java.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Define and maintain API contracts and standards.

Cloud & DevOps:

• Deploy and manage applications in Azure/AWS/GCP environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment.
• Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting for applications.

Collaboration & Agile Execution:

• Work with Product Managers, Architects, and DevOps teams.
• Follow Agile methodologies and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with frontend developers for seamless integration.

Problem-Solving & Innovation:

• Analyze complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies for continuous improvement.
• Optimize existing applications for better performance and cost efficiency.
  

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in Java, Cloud (AWS/Azure), or DevOps are a plus.
