Java Microservices - Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration across microservices
• Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular (v8+ preferred)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Document technical designs and contribute to architectural decisions
  

Work Experience

• 5-9 years of experience in Software development
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools
• Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm/Kubernetes or other Container orchestration technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience of Scrum/Kanban/Agile etc
• Hands on experience with Linux or Unix environments, Shell scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of RESTful interfaces and API design principles
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Angular (v8 or higher)
• Good Understanding on Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS.
  

Good To Have Skills

• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and secure API practices
• Familiarization of Cloud platforms(Preferred AWS)
• Knowledge in Health Care Standards & regulations like DICOM, FHIR, IHE, HIPPA
• Exposure to BDD/ TDD practices
• Knowledge on even driven architecture using RabbitMQ, Kafka etc
