Java Manager

Role Overview: As the Java Manager at Fiserv, you are expected to have a broad understanding of application and product architecture. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to discuss and propose solutions from both business and technical perspectives. You will be leading and overseeing application design and engineering standards across multiple workstreams, managing the implementation process from requirements gathering to deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Understand a broad range of application and product architecture - Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to articulate solutions from business and technical perspectives - Lead and oversee application design and engineering standards across multiple workstreams - Manage implementation process from requirements gathering to deployment Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 16 years of related IT experience, including managing, architecting, designing, and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications - Working experience with distributed and cloud technologies such as Cloud, Containerisation, Microservices, Kafka, Java/JavaScript, Quarkus/Spring, XML/JSON, Apigee/Mulesoft, ESB/Datapower, distributed databases Postgres/Yugabtye, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, Mobile and Application Middleware, PhoneGap/IOS/Android SDKs, CI/CD etc. - Strong understanding of mobile and web app security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies - Knowledge of cryptography, key management, security solutions on mobile and server side, and security protocols including PKI, SSL, RSA, authentication, encryption, digital signatures - Understanding of emerging technologies and their application to business needs - Proficiency in application development technologies, tools, methodologies, and functional areas in an IT organization - Experience in agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development - Comfort and experience in mentoring and leading teams of 40+ (Note: The section "What would be great to have" is omitted as it was not provided in the job description),
