Proven experience with data-at-rest encryption techniques for databases, file systems, and storage across On-premise and Cloud environments. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud KMS, including key concepts like CMEK (Customer Managed Encryption Keys) and CSEK (Customer Supplied Encryption Keys). Experience in implementing and managing data-in-transit encryption using TLS/SSL, VPNs. Familiarity with O365 encryption capabilities, including Service Encryption and Purview Information Protection. Proficiency in key lifecycle management and working with KMS/HSM platforms. Experience with specific On-prem HSM/KMS vendors is a strong plus. Exposure to regulated environments, especially within Financial Services or BFSI sectors, is preferred. Skills & Competencies Deep understanding of cryptographic concepts: Symmetric/Asymmetric encryption, Hashing algorithms, Digital signatures, Key exchange methods Strong knowledge of TLS/SSL protocols and secure configurations Expertise in Key Management technologies: KMS, HSM Hands-on experience with GCP Cloud KMS and related GCP Security Services Familiarity with Microsoft O365/Purview encryption features and Azure Key Vault Understanding of encryption in common OS, databases, and storage platforms Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to cryptographic implementations Excellent documentation and communication skills
