Architect/Engineer- Distributed Systems

As a hands-on Distributed Systems Engineer in our team, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building core primitives for secure interoperability across centralized and decentralized systems. Your expertise at the intersection of systems engineering, applied cryptography, and open-source protocol design will be key in shaping the future of open, interoperable, and secure finance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and build core primitives to enable secure interoperability across centralized and decentralized systems. - Design and scale fault-tolerant, high-throughput systems in production. - Collaborate with top researchers and engineers in blockchain, cryptography, and Web2-scale systems. - Contribute to open-source systems with real-world, national-scale impact. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with expertise in distributed systems or backend infrastructure. - Strong grasp of Web2 architectures including microservices, cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD, and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with Web3 paradigms such as blockchains, consensus algorithms, token standards, or protocol design. - Proficient in at least one systems programming language (Rust, Go, or C++) with the ability to read/write across others (TypeScript preferred). - Strong understanding of cryptographic primitives including hash functions, digital signatures, and public-key cryptography. - Proven experience in designing and scaling fault-tolerant, high-throughput systems in production. **Additional Details:** You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies such as zk-proofs, secure multi-party computation, and contribute towards open-source distributed systems or blockchain infrastructure.
